Worsthorne with Hurstwood
Shaping a neighbourhood, together
Worsthorne with Hurstwood Parish Council approached us in the early days of developing their Neighbourhood Plan - a project that would help shape the future of the village for generations to come.
They needed a comprehensive strategy to reach and engage their local community, encouraging residents to participate, share their ideas, and help shape the village’s next chapter.
We started by immersing ourselves in the project attending parish council meetings, listening to the councillors, and chatting with residents to understand what the Neighbourhood Plan really meant for the people who live there.
Once we understood the landscape, we got to work building a clear and confident strategy to help the parish council connect with the community both online and offline.
A brand that made people stop and take notice
The existing brand was dated and easy to overlook. Working closely with the council, we designed a bold new brand that retained the heart of the original identity but brought it firmly into the modern day.

With a stronger typeface, bolder colours and a cleaner style, it captured the attention of residents while still respecting the village’s roots.
With a new brand and website in place, we rolled out a campaign to rally the community. We combined traditional marketing with digital channels to make sure the message reached every corner of the village.

A new website with real purpose
Their existing site wasn’t fit for purpose, it lacked information, felt outdated and wasn’t helping residents stay in the loop.
We designed and built a brand-new website that was fresh, user-friendly, and packed with helpful information. From meeting updates and project timelines to contact forms and community resources, it became a central hub for all things Worsthorne and Hurstwood.
