Google have announced that their new mobile-friendly algorithm will come into effect as of 21st April 2015. In simple terms this means new rules from Google; meaning they will favour mobile-friendly websites and penalise sites that aren’t.
The new rules will affect mobile searches and is said to have a big impact on mobile rankings. If your website isn’t mobile-friendly, you may drop in rankings, meaning there will be less traffic to your website, which means more traffic for your competitors who have a mobile-friendly site!
