Social Media plays a big part in marketing your business. Sites like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn provide opportunities for you to promote your business to existing and potential customers. And with no hours of business, it allows people to interact at any time, anywhere.
If you don’t already have business pages on Facebook and Twitter, we would strongly recommend them. People are much more likely to remember you if you’re showing in their news feed, whereas they need to go to more effort to research you, then visit your website.
However, it is important to keep your pages up to date. If you haven’t posted for months (or maybe you set up the page with good intensions and have never posted!) it may appear that the business doesn’t exist any more.
Social media is an easy way to connect with your customers; link back to your website and remind them of the services you provide. If you have new services, or a new team member, post about it – your followers will be interested. Best of all it’s free so make the most of it!
